East Arkansas Youth Consortium The Consortium’s mission is to implement and enhance youth service delivery programs and activities. The youth initiative will focus on careers in agriculture, general business, entrepreneurial training, and technology. This comprehensive model for youth is a major step in building a stronger future workforce. The project will offer a system that gives youth and young adults a high quality basic education--information and skills needed to successfully enter the workforce. Through an array of youth service delivery programs, our plan seeks to provide youth entrepreneurship and micro-business enterprises for youth and young adults, entry level employment opportunities, internships and preparation for continuing education, and training. The project will expand career awareness among youth and improve linkages between school and work.
